Roleplaying you say?
Err.. blame Kurt! Or should I say Rush…
2 weeks ago, we made the big mistake of reinstalling World of Warcraft, with the idea we’d get bored of it after 3 days like we did when retrying Final Fantasy XI. Apparently, WoW ages better and got us totally hooked again. After 1 year of hating the game, we came back and are loving every minute of it.
We joined a new realm, Defias Brotherhood, leaving our old Priest and Warlock (7 months of leveling, raiding and getting sweet gear down the drain) and starting a new life on this roleplaying (yes you heard it right) PvP server. Say hello to the new Aislynn (lvl 30 Mage) and Suibne (lvl 31 Rogue)…
Roleplaying is a first for us, we’re still getting into it but liking it none the less. First time Horde too, which statistically means more adults, a nice change from the kiddy playground our last realm was.
The PvP part makes WoW a complete new experience though. Visiting areas away from your home town requires traveling in groups or calling in backup once in a while. Alliance usually will gank you if they have the opportunity, but with our good friend Rush (lvl 60 Shadow Priest) we usually get our revenge quite quickly.
Anyway, the disease is spreading again. We got our good friend Tokstah hooked too, who in turn is infecting his friends etc. History seems to repeat itself, as it’s been only a short 2 years since we’ve got half of our town hooked… And they’re still playing today :P (Blizzard should be grateful).

Cash is not a problem currently. =) Gear and a proper guild on the other hand… ^^

Totally off topic:
Sicu, are you going to buy the HD-DVD add-on for the 360? I’m not really into HD-movies and stuff (too expensive), but I’m considering it (it’s out in two weeks in Germany, France, UK, …).

he he finaly back to Wow i see.
I also moved to a new server away from the drama and stuff. Although horde and alliance both have their kids volume means that alliance has more of them. A well law of big numbers i guess the more people you get the more people are assholes.
WoW is indeed verry addictive i dont really know why but it is. It has that special something some games have and some games just dont have.

i’m really liking horde. we got this age 25+ guild and except for the kiddo alliance ganking us, not too much issues with annoying behavior and soap drama :P
lvl 40. getting there ;) 20 to go! then i’ll have to take revenge on that crazy gank list i got :/ lol

We got a horde guild also.
We got a mature guild with a GL of 12 a well we needed the exeption and his dad is also playing so no risk there.
To bad a lot of kiddo alliance desided to roll horde on the server but we try to keep them out of our guild and it works :). And if you dont really care if you will be the first or the 100th guy to kill ragnaros on the server the game gets more relaxed.

PvE is the kiddy version of WoW, tnx for the offer but i’ll skip ;)
PvP really makes it interesting though. And of course we got Rush, kurt’s elite Shadow Priest, to save the day when Alliance comes ganking when their homework is done ;)

A well if you can raid 6 hours a day or something you would expect some results nothing to do with good skills just loads of practice.
Hellscream might be fun after TBC but for now ill stay on my hordie with great friends that moved with me.
As for the purged guildtag a well different players have different opinions ;)

nah kidding, really enjoying it. lvl37 myself atm, but Suib & Ais are 60 now. So I’m still as far away from them as when I started the game. Catching up now though.
