Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind
Still sucking at MGA2, but finished Katamari! Which was really worth it, no matter what the reviews say. As an end bonus, you unlock this sidescrolling 8-bit style Katamari game. Very cute!
And finally we’ve got around watching a movie again! Our last Ghibli (that we own, still need a couple) was again very much worth it. Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind tells a story about a world that’s been poisoned by the industry, creating a deadly forest with mutated insects threatening the existence of mankind. Although it sounds like your typical sci-fi plot, as with every Ghibli, it is far from your mainstream story. Characters are colourful, lessons are plenty and although it might be more predictable than your typical Ghibli, you won’t be leaving your couch until the credits roll. It’s one of those movies that has you dreaming and thinking on… as with all their animated pieces of art.
And yes, finally, Brain Age is arriving this Friday. Time to smarten up! And the DS Lite is nearly among us. I’ve had the chance to try out Wim’s Lite and was very impressed. It’s even prettier than the pictures :D Preordered?… check!

I finally beat God of War this weekend (started playing on friday). It is indeed a very very good game, despite the slow and somewhat interesting start and that fucking hard last level from hell! The story is just awesome!
I also played Princess Peach, an easy platformer in the mushroom kingdon. Kind of like a Super Mario World Light or something ;)
Also bought Exit for PSP (only €20) but haven’t played it yet.
watched:
Big Fish / The Interpreter /Irréversible and a lot of tennis! ;)
working at home = the good life, bring on that soccer championship thingie already!
listened:
Guitar Hero soundtrack (dled from the interweb) and some 2Pac
And I’m also curious about brain age. I wonder if it will be as successful as in Japan, but I doubt it…

probably not since 90% of european gamers can’t do math :P
i don’t like watching tennis and hate football so i’m even thinking of cutting my tv cable wire :D
yes i’ve been thinking bout getting Exit too, since it’s so cheap. let me know if it’s any good.
princess peach worth the money?

Peach is too easy (the bitch!) ;)
It plays like Super Mario light. It’s fun, and it’s got the same level design as a Mario or Yoshi platform game, including the same ennemies and stuff. But it’s too easy for the experienced gamer. So get it when it becomes a Player’s choice title or something and wait for NSMB.
Een beke flauw da ze zeggen… ;)
