Kill Bill Vol. 1

After 10 hours of Shadow Hearts 3, I just had to give up. The story was going nowhere. [spoilers!] I’ve visited the Grand Canyon, met Al Capone, broke into Alcatraz, fought aliens in Area 51 and am now stranded on an island with pirates. [/spoilers!] As for the main story, I have no idea where it ended up.
I also booted up Electroplankton again. We imported it a year ago (good thing too, here it’s still not out yet) and I really haven’t spent enough time with it yet. It’s not quite a game, but for details, check out one of my older posts.
Xbox never had any games I liked, except for Dead or Alive Extreme Beach Volley, but hearing all the fanboys go crazy about Halo and having its price dropped to 15 euro, I just had to give it a try. So I got Halo 2, as my friends still want to play that one online. But I just tried some single player last night to get an idea. And… well… it’s pretty good. The 360 helps a lot of course, improving the graphics (through a downloaded patch) and giving it a 720p HD output.
It has an amazing soundtrack, although some ugly character design. The gameplay is pretty nice and I just love the fact that you can dual wield. The first FPS I saw doing this, was Goldeneye on Nintendo 64. I loved its 4 player-splitscreen mode, so I have a good feeling I’ll love Halo 2’s online abilities.
Getting sick this weekend (thanks to colleagues spreading their microbes and the bloody airco that they like to turn on when it gets above 10 degrees Celsius outside… ), I didn’t feel like playing too many games and turned to my DVD collection. Even though I saw Kill Bill Vol. 1 a couple of times, I never watched both movies one after another. Laying half-dead in the sofa, I had all the time in the world and did just that. A bit of Japanese culture, a bit of typical Tarantino, lots of violence… the perfect combo.
Now, can anyone please help me get Guitar Hero (ps2)? ^^ (and Exit (psp) and Phoenix Wright (ds) while we are at it ;))

Halo 2 would be nice but since i dont own an Xbox much less a 360 i guess im screwed (dont think it came to PC, but yeah duel weild guns rock, i loved the split screen action on Goldeneye we played till all hours right through Uni and even if i do say so myself i absolutely kick ass at it,
When we had a bust controller i even manage to beat three mates using a steering whell :D

Sicu, I like how you’re finally growing up, discovering Halo.. what’s next, girls? :p
I never really loved the game, but this is ‘the’ game pc-gamers should play when they can’t stop bitching about how “FPS’s don’t work on a console”…
Guitar Hero: I met some people from ContactData (the distributor for benelux) today and they told me that shipments should be in in Belgian stores. So I suggest you make some phonecalls to your local stores and ask them to put a copy aside for you or something. You might actually own the game a few weeks before me, ’cause I have to wait for my review copy (dammit!)
Phoenix Wright: I received it last week, borrowed it to my girlfriend, haven’t seen it back since. ;)

I think i’m gonna wait with guitar hero, seeing as no shop in sint-niklaas can get its hands on it.
as for fps on console, it works but it’s a total different type of game on pc than on console. but i looov the music :P
