FPS only comes to life online imo, playing against real people. after Tactical Ops I haven't seen any of those type of games really please me online, until now :D. although, I don't think any game will have me addicted as long as Tactical Ops (3 years was it? .. more/less?) no i’m not going that low :P . but seriously, i have been a great fan of the original Battlefield on PC, and since I’ve banned PC gaming out of my life, and BF2 is THE fps on PC at the moment, the console version is the next best thing!
