Xbox 360 in stores early
Not that I care, since I import lots of games anyway, but lately you find every game/console available before release date. Which is good, because I don’t like waiting. So I got my copy of Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories today, since the shop keepers get their stock on Wednesday and sometimes already start selling it.
The Xbox 360 was available as well. So far for low stock (although I guess it depends on the shop). Europeans aren’t as horny for hardware as our fellow Japanese and US gamers. We can wait. We’ll preorder but don’t expect us to get up early for a game, let alone camp before a shop. But you don’t have to, since the Xbox, with its official release date tomorrow, is already available in some shops nearby. And no one seemed interested ;)
We got our first real tv last weekend. From a small tube tv which required glasses to comfortably play a game to a 32″ HD LCD Sony, on which my PS2 is looking amazingly sexy (requires component cables though). No we didn’t buy it for the Xbox 360, Elke’s pc playing Half-Life2, connected to the tv, looks 10 times better than any Xbox 360 game, so I couldn’t care less for MS’s latest console.
No no, we are waiting for the PS3! Until then DVDs and the PS2 will do just fine. Too little time, too many games!

Dude! You’re just telling lies! At this moment PC-games don’t look better than Xbox 360-games (not yet). And you shouldn’t say nobody’s interested in the console, that’s just not true! YOU’re not interested in it ;)
Btw, get yourself one. I need a friend on Xbox Live ;)
Which is very cool by the way: downloading demo’s, or those very addictive arcade games (Geometry Wars is tha shizzle!).
And I want your tv. Mine is so tiny that I can’t read on screen text and stuff. Very annoying!

Hehe. Still, I have yet to see anything that looks like the Half-Life2 Lost Coast demo ;)
Come over with your xbox so i can beat you up and throw u out. without the box ;) .. SEE videogames DID make me a violent person!

quick, put Jack Thompson on it! ;)
I think the games look great (Call of Duty 2 for example)
and keep in mind that the few 360-games are all launch games and don’t even use the true power of the Xbox 360. The thing has like two (three?) processors and stuff, but all these launch games use only one of ‘em.
And i’m telling you, I’m on Xbox Live since yesterday and I love it! ;)
